Behavioural Training
Centred around the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Training Scheme, our relationship-centred instruction focuses on the emotional bond between dog and owner. With emphasis on control, (settling, walking politely on lead, recalling to owner and not jumping up), we promote positive social etiquette, engagement through play and mental stimulation, plus life skills to set you and your dog up for success...
...so your canine companion can accompany you anywhere, anytime!
In addition to criteria set out by the scheme, your learning will include much more, such as:
• the psychology of how dogs learn
• correct socialisation
• body language
• household etiquette
• coping with experimental behaviours such as mouthing, stealing and chasing
Structure
Training commences with an Induction of approximately 2 hours and is suitable for non-reactive adolescent or adult dogs and puppies from one week after their first vaccination.
