Scentwork
Sometimes called Nosework, this is an activity where dogs are helped to use part of their natural behaviour and sniffing ability for physical and mental stimulation. Instruction will be on how to train dogs to:
• find a scent
• indicate a find
• expand their know scents
Suitable for any breed type and age including puppies / veterans whose natural movement may be restricted, as well as for dogs with mobility issues and those simply in need of a confidence boost!
Providing enormous satisfaction, scentwork can easily be incorporated within the daily life of pet dogs. This enrichment helps to keep arousal levels low and thus promote feelings of calmness and relaxation.
