Gundog training is suited to almost any type of breed regardless of intention to work in the shooting field. However, some are more genetically predisposed with a desire to work...by controlling these attributes and learning how they can be 'switched on' when needed, our pet gundogs will have balanced, enriched lives...
...control the switch, control your dog..!
Instructed techniques will include:
• steadiness
• directional handling
• whistle cues
• basic retrieves with delivery
Structure
Gundog training commences with an Introductory Session of 2 hours for non-reactive dogs aged 8 months and over.
On completion of the Introductory Course, you will be invited to a Follow-on Gundog Workshop comprising of a session of 2 hours. Classes will then be scheduled on intermittent Saturdays from February 2027. To fully embrace this field training sporting activity, we have use of secure private land for your classes in West End, Surrey which is approximately 20 mins drive from Hampton.
Venue
Linden Hall Community Centre, Hampton TW12 2JG is the location for your Introduction to Gundog Training. To fully embrace this activity which is best suited to in-field training, we have use of secure private land for your classes in West End, Surrey which is approximately 20 mins drive from Hampton.
FREE CAR PARKING is available on site at both venues as well as on neighbouring streets
